Ortal 60 x 80 (Signature Burner)
The Ortal 60 x 80 is a compact, taller-than-wide direct vent gas fireplace. The name is the metric body size, 60 by 80 cm, so the glass is about 22 inches wide and 29 inches tall. Ortal's Signature burner is a long ribbon of flame rising from a bed of glass, pebbles or logs, which is the contemporary look most people picture when they think of a linear gas fireplace. It runs on natural gas or propane.
You can order it front facing, as a see-through between two rooms or as an indoor-outdoor see-through with one side facing a covered porch or patio. The front is either Ortal's double glass heat barrier, which keeps the outer glass cool enough to touch, or a micro mesh protective screen. The see-through versions have glass on both long sides, and the indoor-outdoor version uses double glass on the outdoor face so it can sit in an exterior wall under cover.

Ortal fireplaces are built to order, so the configuration, heat barrier, interior and fire bed all get chosen before it ships. We measure the space, plan the vent run, confirm the clearances against the Ortal installation manual, and handle the install and the service afterward.
