Ortal 60 Stand Alone (Signature Burner)

Ortal 60 Stand Alone (Signature Burner)

The Ortal 60 Stand Alone is a freestanding front facing gas fireplace in a finished steel cabinet. It needs no wall framing, just a gas line and a vent, so it works where a built-in would mean tearing into a finished room. Ortal's Signature burner is a long ribbon of flame rising from a bed of glass, pebbles or logs, which is the contemporary look most people picture when they think of a linear gas fireplace. It runs on natural gas or propane.

Freestanding does not mean portable. It is a direct vent appliance that gets piped and vented like any other Ortal, and clearances to the wall behind and the floor below come from the manual. It is one of the simpler Ortal installs because there is no wall cavity to build.

What Makes the 60 Stand Alone Different

  • Signature burner. A ribbon of flame over logs, pebbles or glass.
  • No framing. A finished cabinet instead of a wall cavity, so less construction.

Input and efficiency figures are Ortal's published ratings. How much warmth you feel depends on the room, the configuration, the venting and how the fireplace is set up.

Ortal fireplaces are built to order, so the configuration, heat barrier, interior and fire bed all get chosen before it ships. We measure the space, plan the vent run, confirm the clearances against the Ortal installation manual, and handle the install and the service afterward.
