The Mendota FV44i FireIn Gen 2 gas insert is all about the look of the fire. Mendota's FireIn burner wraps the flames around and through the logs, so the fire looks like it's rising from inside the log set. You can choose hand-painted oak or birch logs to set the look.
This is the second-generation FV44i FireIn. It pairs that fire with electronic IPI ignition and a thermostatic remote, dual 190 CFM blowers as standard equipment, and a four-AA battery backup for power outages. Its manual rates it at 11,900 to 40,000 BTU/hr input on natural gas and 73% P.4 efficiency.
What Makes the FV44i FireIn Gen 2 Different

Ownership & Maintenance
If the power goes out, plug the backup battery pack harness into the backup power inlet and load four fresh AA batteries. Keep spare AA batteries in the house. The manual remains the authority on operation, and we offer ongoing service for our customers.
