Mendota builds gas fireplaces and gas inserts. They're built with heavy-gauge steel and full-seam welded fireboxes, and their log sets are made to look like a real wood fire.
Most Mendota units are built to order. You pick the front, the liner, and the surround, so the finished fireplace can match a traditional living room or a clean modern wall. That also means there are a lot of decisions to make, and it helps to see the options side by side before you order.
If you're replacing an old wood fireplace, a Mendota insert can go into the existing opening. If you're building or remodeling, their built-in fireplaces range from compact units up to the ML72, the largest in their line. We'll measure, help you work through the options, and handle the install.
