Ortal Wilderness 60HH

The Ortal Wilderness 60HH is a linear direct vent gas fireplace. Ortal's Wilderness burner runs the flame up through the log set instead of along a bed in front of it, so the fire reads much closer to wood than a typical linear gas fireplace. It still has the clean steel frame and large glass Ortal is known for, and it runs on natural gas or propane.

This is the HH height version of the 60 inch Wilderness, the tallest glass in the line, closer to a square opening on the smaller widths. You can order it front facing, as a left or right corner or three sided. It comes with Ortal's double glass heat barrier, which keeps the outer glass cool enough to touch. It is offered with the standard log set or the Long Driftwood set, and the long logs change the venting requirement, so that choice gets made early.

With the Long Driftwood log set this model needs a power vent. With the standard logs it can run on a passive vent in many layouts. We confirm which applies from the manual once we know the log set and the vent route.
