Ortal Wilderness 31
The Ortal Wilderness 31 is a compact, front facing direct vent gas fireplace. Ortal's Wilderness burner runs the flame up through the log set instead of along a bed in front of it, so the fire reads much closer to wood than a typical linear gas fireplace. It still has the clean steel frame and large glass Ortal is known for, and it runs on natural gas or propane.
The front is either Ortal's double glass heat barrier, which keeps the outer glass cool enough to touch, or a micro mesh protective screen.
