Ortal 75 Stand Alone (Signature Burner)
The Ortal 75 Stand Alone is a freestanding gas fireplace that needs no wall framing, just a gas line and a vent. It comes front facing or three sided, each a finished steel cabinet with the fire inside. Ortal's Signature burner is a long ribbon of flame rising from a bed of glass, pebbles or logs, which is the contemporary look most people picture when they think of a linear gas fireplace. It runs on natural gas or propane.
Freestanding does not mean portable. It is a direct vent appliance that gets piped and vented like any other Ortal, and clearances to the wall behind and the floor below come from the manual. It is one of the simpler Ortal installs because there is no wall cavity to build. Ortal's decorative base is a separate option on this model.
