Ortal 120 Space Creator (Signature Burner)
The Ortal 120 Space Creator is a 51 inch direct vent gas fireplace (120 is the metric body width) made to sit in a low partition wall and divide a room without closing it off. Both long sides are glass and the partition stays low, so you look over it from either side and the fireplace reads as a piece of furniture more than a wall. Ortal's Signature burner is a long ribbon of flame rising from a bed of glass, pebbles or logs, which is the contemporary look most people picture when they think of a linear gas fireplace. It runs on natural gas or propane.
The front is either Ortal's double glass heat barrier, which keeps the outer glass cool enough to touch, or a micro mesh protective screen. Because it is glass on two sides and sits inside the partition, the framing and the vent route need to be worked out before the wall is built, and we do that with you or your builder.

Input and efficiency figures are Ortal's published ratings. How much warmth you feel depends on the room, the configuration, the venting and how the fireplace is set up.
Ortal fireplaces are built to order, so the configuration, heat barrier, interior and fire bed all get chosen before it ships. We measure the space, plan the vent run, confirm the clearances against the Ortal installation manual, and handle the install and the service afterward.
