Mendota FV41 Gas Fireplace FullView

The Mendota FV41 FullView is a traditional gas fireplace with a tall 32 1/2 by 28 9/16 inch fire view and a lot of flexibility built in. Dual blowers come standard, and on natural gas the input adjusts from 13,000 up to 40,000 BTU/hr, so it can run low and steady or turn up when you want more.

Planning a TV above the mantel? Mendota offers Cool Wall, which uses natural convection to pull heat off the wall above the fireplace, and Versiheat, which uses a fan to send heat to another room. Electronic ignition and a thermostatic remote handle the day-to-day.

What Makes the FV41 FullView Different

  • Blowers standard. Dual blowers rated at 190 CFM in free air come with the fireplace.
  • Heat management options. Cool Wall and Versiheat give you ways to manage heat above the fireplace or move it to another room.
  • Backup power ready. It runs on 120 VAC or a 6V DC source, and a backup DC power harness is supplied for outages.
  • Remote control. Electronic ignition with a thermostatic remote.

Ownership & Maintenance

Mendota's manual requires turning on Standing Pilot Mode during winter months when daily highs stay at 50°F or lower, which keeps the pilot light running. Keep the backup power harness with the fireplace, and ask us what will and won't run on backup power. We offer ongoing service for our customers.

If you're planning a TV or a flush wall above the fireplace, talk with us at our Auburn, Brunswick, and Yarmouth showrooms. We'll help with Cool Wall or Versiheat, venting, framing, clearances, and installation.
