Renaissance Uptown 600 Wood-Burning Fireplace
The Renaissance Uptown 600 is a wood-burning fireplace with a crisp, modern opening and a built-in guillotine door and firescreen that slide out of sight when you want the fire open. The firebox is lined with smooth refractory brick made in steel molds, so the inside looks as tidy as the outside.
Every Uptown 600 comes with Renaissance's Heat Recovery System, which uses ducts to distribute heat from the fireplace through the home. It takes logs up to 24 inches, the door and screen tilt forward for cleaning, and vented gas logs up to 50,000 BTU may be installed later if you want that option. It uses an 8 inch ICC EXCEL chimney, and you finish it with a trim, sold separately, that suits your wall.
What Makes the Uptown 600 Different
- Heat Recovery System included. Renaissance builds in a system that moves warm air from the fireplace through ducts to other parts of the home. It comes with the fireplace and is required.
- Door and screen built in. The guillotine glass door and firescreen are part of the fireplace. They tilt forward for cleaning, and the door handle is removable.
- Smooth brick firebox. The refractory bricks are made in steel molds, giving the firebox a clean, even look.
- Trim for your finish. A trim is required and sold separately: straight trim for heavier masonry or frame trim for a tile or cement board finish.
This listing is the Renaissance Uptown 600 wood-burning fireplace (SKU RSF RUP600). Trim must be purchased separately: straight trim (RSF RUPST) for heavier masonry or frame trim (RSF RUPFT) for tile or cement board. Requires an 8 in ICC chimney. The Heat Recovery System is included.
