Napoleon Vector 74 Direct Vent Gas Fireplace
The Napoleon Vector 74 is a linear gas fireplace with a long, low window and nothing standing between you and the fire. A tube burner runs the width of the opening, and the black MIRRO-FLAME porcelain panels that line the back and ends of the firebox come with the unit, so the flames reflect behind and beside themselves. What sits on the burner is up to you. Napoleon ships the Vector without any media, and you pick it. Most people start with a High Definition Oak, Driftwood, or Birch log set and then add glass beads, glass embers, or Mineral Rocks around it. You can also go without logs and use a Beach Fire set, standard Birch logs, a Woodland rock kit, Wrought Iron Globes, or a bed of colored glass on its own.
It is a clean-finish fireplace. No surround is required; the finishing flange lets your tile, stone, or drywall run right up to the opening, with non-combustible material directly above and beside it. The remote control, wall switch, eFIRE Bluetooth controller, multi-color LED ember bed lighting, and Napoleon's Night Light all come included, and so does the safety barrier. Napoleon designs it with TVs in mind and offers optional heat management kits for walls that carry one. It is built in Ontario, Canada, and runs on natural gas; a propane conversion kit is available. The 62 and 74 usually carry a lead time, so bring us in early if it is going into new construction or a remodel.
What Makes the Vector 74 Different
- Fire the full width. The 76.75 x 18.62 in viewing area is one long window, and the included MIRRO-FLAME panels reflect the flames on three sides.
- Media you choose. Logs, glass, rocks, globes, or a mix, picked to suit the room rather than fixed at the factory.
- No surround required. The finishing flange lets the facing run tight to the opening; trims and surrounds are there if you want them, not because you need them.
- On Demand ignition. Electronic intermittent pilot ignition with a continuous pilot mode and a 7-day timer gives you control over how the pilot runs.
This listing is the current Napoleon Vector 74 single-sided fireplace, model LV74N, natural gas with electronic ignition; a propane conversion kit is available. A media choice is required and sold separately, and the finish above and beside the opening must be non-combustible.
