The Napoleon Elora is a tall, narrow direct vent gas stove with glass on three sides, built for people who want a modern fire that stands on its own rather than a cast iron look. The unit is 18.25 inches wide and 42.75 inches tall, and the burner uses Napoleon's Luminous Log system, where the logs themselves light up with the fire, in a 21.25 inch wide front window. You choose the Oak or Birch Luminous Log kit, which is sold separately.
The Elora is a hybrid gas and electric stove: a blower heater is built in alongside the gas burner, so it can run as an electric heater with no flame in the shoulder seasons. It has ProFlame 2 electronic ignition with a Bluetooth module and an included remote, LED accent lights along the sides, and a battery backup. It can vent out the top or the rear, and the parts for a rear vent conversion come in the box. It comes in natural gas, and a propane conversion kit is available.
This listing is the current Napoleon Elora (model GDS30LN) in natural gas with electronic ignition. The Luminous Log kit (Oak OLKGDS30L or Birch BLKGDS30L) is required and sold separately, as is the vent termination; black fluted or MIRRO-FLAME porcelain panels are optional.
Input figures are Napoleon's ratings. How warm the room feels depends on the space, your home's layout, the installation, and how you run the fire.
The safety barrier is the removable upper front panel and must be installed. The battery holder takes 4 AA batteries. Napoleon says the Elora should not sit directly on carpet. We offer ongoing service for our customers.
We'll help you pick the log kit and panels, then plan the venting and installation. See more gas stoves or stop by our Auburn, Brunswick, and Yarmouth showrooms.
