Napoleon Ascent Multi-View Peninsula Gas Fireplace, Glass Media

The Napoleon Ascent Multi-View Peninsula is open on three sides, with glass across the front and both ends. It's the fireplace for a kitchen island wall, a room divider, or any spot where people will see the fire from more than one side. It ships with a topaz glass ember bed, and the safety barriers for every glass face are on the unit.

It's a complete fireplace as delivered. No log set, panel, or control is required to finish it; a remote control or wall thermostat is optional, and the black porcelain reflective end panel is a style choice rather than a requirement. It's built in Ontario, Canada, and sold as a natural gas unit; a propane conversion kit is available.

What Makes the Ascent Multi-View Peninsula Different

• Open on three sides. Glass on the front and both ends, with one closed back wall that takes an optional black porcelain reflective end panel.
• Glass ember bed, ready to go. The topaz glass embers ship in the unit. Optional glass bead and glass ember colors, mineral rocks, and designer metal coil media can change the look.
• Wall firestop and vent shields in the box. The firestop assembly for a horizontal wall penetration and two telescopic vent shields ship with the unit; the vent collar is angled at 45 degrees so it can run up or out the back.
• On Demand ignition. Electronic intermittent pilot ignition with a continuous pilot mode and a 7-day timer gives you control over how the pilot runs.

This listing is the current Napoleon Ascent Multi-View Peninsula, model BHD4PGN for natural gas with electronic ignition and topaz glass embers. Nothing else is required to complete the unit; panels, media kits, and a remote or thermostat are optional, and a propane conversion kit is available.

Ownership & Maintenance

The safety barriers come with the fireplace and must be installed on every glass side. The ignition needs an electrical connection at the fireplace, and the battery back-up takes 4 AA batteries, which are not supplied. We offer ongoing service for our customers.

We'll help you choose panels or media and a control, then plan the venting, framing, and installation around the open sides. See more gas fireplaces or stop by our Auburn, Brunswick, and Yarmouth showrooms.
