Napoleon Ascent Linear Premium 56 Direct Vent Gas Fireplace

The Napoleon Ascent Linear Premium 56 is a wide, low linear fireplace for a room where the fire is meant to be the main wall feature. The viewing area runs 51.5 inches across behind a ceramic glass door, and the premium safety barrier and an adjustable finishing flange come on the unit, so the finished opening is already defined when the stone or drywall goes on. You choose the look inside the firebox: a Birch, Driftwood, or Split Oak log kit, or a Beach Fire, Mineral Rock, Shore Fire, or Woodland media kit. One of those is required and sold separately.

The rest of the equipment is in the box. A heat circulating blower, the eFIRE controller with remote, Napoleon's Night Light, the non-combustible board for above the opening, and a flex gas connector with shut-off valve all ship with the fireplace. It's built in Ontario, Canada, and sold as a natural gas unit; a propane conversion kit is available.

What Makes the Ascent Linear Premium 56 Different

• Finishing flange included. The four-sided flange adjusts for finishing material from a half inch to an inch thick, so the surround can be tile, stone, or drywall without a separate trim kit.
• Your logs or your media. Three log kits and four media kits fit this firebox, and optional glass media, Ledgestone panels, or black porcelain reflective panels change the look again.
• Blower, eFIRE, and Night Light included. The blower, the eFIRE controller and remote, and the Night Light come with it, so you're not adding them later.
• On Demand ignition. Electronic intermittent pilot ignition with a continuous pilot mode and a 7-day timer gives you control over how the pilot runs.

Ownership & Maintenance

The safety barrier comes with the fireplace and must be installed. The fireplace is hard wired to a 120 V circuit, and the battery back-up holder takes 4 AA batteries. We offer ongoing service for our customers.
