It goes into a masonry or factory-built zero-clearance wood-burning fireplace and vents direct through a co-linear 3 inch exhaust and 3 inch air inlet. Dual blowers come standard, electronic ignition runs from a thermostatic remote, and magnetic fronts sit flush for a clean finish. If the power goes out, a four AA battery pack keeps the fire available for about ten days, though the blower and accent light stay off.
