Valor L1 Linear Gas Fireplace, Propane
If you want a modern fireplace that reads like a wide picture window of flame, the Valor L1 is built for it. The 40 inch by 14-1/2 inch view stretches the fire out low and wide, and Valor engineered the burner for flame depth without trading away efficiency. Valor describes the L1 as a fireplace that "emits radiant warmth where you want it, when you want it."
This is the propane version. It runs on batteries as its primary power, so it can operate as a heater without household electricity. The Valor 10 remote comes with it and can hold a set temperature by adjusting the flame. From there, you choose the fuel bed, liner, and front that finish the look.
What Makes the Valor L1 Different
- Battery power comes first. Valor gas fireplaces run on four AA batteries as their main power source, not as a backup. The L1 works as a heater with no household electricity. Power is only needed for add-ons like the fan kit, HeatSplit, or the WiFi kit.
- HeatShift, Valor's fanless convection system. HeatShift moves warm air away from the fireplace opening through hidden ducts, using natural convection instead of a fan. Valor recommends it where nearby walls need to stay cooler, and it's required with the 1530CIK clean install front.
- A remote that watches the temperature. The included Valor 10 remote has a thermostatic mode. It measures the room and adjusts the flame height to hold the temperature you set.
- Build your own look. Pick from birch, driftwood, splitwood, rock and shale, or Murano glass, then choose a fluted black, reflective glass, or plain black liner and a front to finish it.
This listing is the Valor 1500KP L1 Linear engine for propane. The fuel bed, liner, and front are ordered separately.
