HearthStone Heritage TruHybrid Wood Stove

Title

The HearthStone Heritage wraps a soapstone-lined firebox in full cast iron. It comes in Black Enamel, Brown Enamel, Seafoam Enamel, or Matte Black, so it can look as traditional or as colorful as you like.

The side door is the Heritage's standout feature. You load wood from the side, and you can order the door on the left or the right to suit your hearth and the way you walk up to it. The 2.2 cubic foot firebox takes logs up to 21 inches, and HearthStone's TruHybrid catalytic system handles the burn.

What Makes the Heritage Different

  • Left or right side loading. Choose the door side that fits your room, then load wood without reaching across the front of the stove.
  • Soapstone inside cast iron. Full cast iron construction with a 1 1/4 inch soapstone lining.
  • Room for longer wood. Logs up to 21 inches fit in the 2.2 cubic foot firebox.
  • Tidier hearth. An optional ash pan helps keep ash where it belongs.
  • Four finishes. Three enamel colors plus Matte Black.

This listing is the HearthStone Heritage TruHybrid wood stove, model 8024, in Black Enamel, Brown Enamel, Matte Black, or Seafoam Enamel, each with a left or right side load door.

Ownership & Maintenance

HearthStone notes the catalytic combustor becomes active around 500 degrees F and helps burn up smoke. Like any catalyst, it should be inspected now and then and will eventually need to be replaced. If you buy from Hearth Doctor, you'll have ongoing service for our customers.

Not sure which door side makes sense? Bring a photo of your hearth to our Auburn, Brunswick, and Yarmouth showrooms. We'll help with that choice plus the chimney, clearances, hearth protection, and installation.
