A gas insert should make an old fireplace worth sitting in front of again, and the Valor G3.5 does it with a 354 square inch view of the fire. Valor says it builds on four generations of its Legend insert design, and the current 700R engine includes AutoFire and the Valor 10 remote.
The 700RP is the propane engine, with an input range of 11,000 to 26,000 Btu/h. You choose birch, driftwood, or traditional logs, then a liner in ledgestone, reflective glass, fluted black, or red brick, and a front. Those pieces are sold separately. Valor describes the G3.5 as a radiant fireplace that heats the room directly without relying on a fan or electricity.
This listing is the Valor 700RP engine, the current G3.5 direct vent gas insert for propane. The fuel bed, liner, front, and backing plate are sold separately.
Valor rates output and EnerGuide without the fan. Treat them as a guide. The feel in your room depends on its size and layout, the installation, and how the fireplace is run.
If you add the optional circulating fan, it needs a grounded power source. We provide ongoing service for our customers.
We'll measure your fireplace, confirm the cavity, plan the chimney liners, and help you choose logs, liner, and front. Compare more gas fireplace inserts or visit our Auburn, Brunswick, and Yarmouth showrooms.
