Regency® E33 Large High Efficiency Gas Insert

The Regency Energy E33 is a large gas insert for people who want their fireplace to keep working when the power goes out. It uses a standing pilot that you light with a spark igniter, and the gas controls don't need electricity, so the fire keeps going during an outage. Only the blower stops.

A variable-speed blower and a remote come included. It's a direct vent insert on a 3 inch co-linear system, with natural gas input from 20,000 to 38,000 BTU/hr. It's a good one to look at if outage-ready gas heat matters to you and you have a larger fireplace to work with.
