Mendota DXV60 Deep Timber Gas Fireplace

The Mendota DXV60 is built for a big, dramatic fire. Mendota designed it around a 3-level gas burner and a fiber log set, and the viewing area measures 42 1/2 by 34 1/8 inches, so the fire is the first thing people notice in the room.

A red brick firebox liner comes factory installed, and the fiber logs are included, so the traditional look is part of the package. Natural gas input runs from 10,000 up to 60,000 BTU/hr and propane from 9,500 to 59,500 BTU/hr, a wide range that lets you run anything from a low, easy fire to a full one. Ignition is a manual spark system with thermocouple safety.

What Makes the DXV60 Different

  • A big viewing area. At 42 1/2 by 34 1/8 inches, the fire becomes the focal point of the wall.
  • 3-level gas burner. Mendota builds the DXV60's fire presentation around a dramatic 3-level burner.
  • Liner and logs included. The red brick liner is factory installed and the fiber log set comes with the fireplace.
  • Simple ignition. Manual spark ignition with thermocouple safety. During a power outage the manual allows one hour on, one hour off cycles, and the fan won't run.
