HearthStone Green Mountain 80 TruHybrid Wood Stove, 6 in Flue Collar
The Green Mountain 80 model 8681 starts a new generation of HearthStone's Green Mountain family, and it looks the part. An elegant silhouette, a linear cast iron texture, and a flush door on hidden hinges give it a clean, modern face.
It also moves to a 6 inch flue collar, which HearthStone calls more versatile, and the flue can exit from the top or the rear. Inside is a 3.15 cubic foot firebox that takes logs up to 23 inches. The TruHybrid catalytic system is rated at 80% efficiency (HHV) with certified emissions of 0.53 g/hr, and an optional blower kit is available.
What Makes the Green Mountain 80 (8681) Different
- New Green Mountain styling. A linear cast iron texture and a flush door on hidden hinges set the 8681 apart.
- 6 inch flue, top or rear. The 6 inch collar can exit from the top or the rear, which gives more options when planning the chimney connection.
- Room for 23 inch logs. The 3.15 cubic foot firebox takes long splits, so less time goes into cutting wood down.
- Low certified emissions. HearthStone's TruHybrid catalytic system gives the 8681 a certified rate of 0.53 g/hr.

Ownership & Maintenance
The TruHybrid system is built around a catalytic combustor, which should be checked from time to time and will eventually need to be replaced. HeatLife is a HearthStone rating, not a burn time you can count on in every home. We offer ongoing service for our customers.
