Morsø 6143 Convection Wood Stove with Log Storage Base
Firewood has to live somewhere, and the Morsø 6143 gives it a spot right under the fire. The stove sits on a tall, open base that doubles as log storage, so a few splits stay close at hand and the whole thing looks like one clean piece of furniture. The raised height also lifts the flames up where you can see them from across the room.
Above the base is Morsø's cast iron 6100 series stove, a non-catalytic convection design that burns wood only. It's EPA 2020 certified at 1.8 grams per hour, rated at 74% HHV efficiency, and takes logs up to 12 inches. An optional cabinet door can close off the base if you'd rather keep it tidy.
What Makes the Morsø 6143 Different
- Log storage built in. The open base holds firewood right where you need it, with no separate rack on the hearth.
- Fire at a higher level. At about 37 1/2 inches tall, the 6143 raises the fire for easier viewing.
- Optional cabinet door. A cabinet door is available as an option if you want the storage hidden.
- Simple to live with. An ash tray, airwash glass system, and pre-heated combustion air are part of the design.
