Valor President Gas Stove

The Valor President is a gas stove with a classic, traditional look. Valor describes it as solid cast iron wrapped around its Portrait engine, and it frames the fire in a 15-3/8 by 16-3/4 inch window over logs or a coal set. It can vent from the top or the rear, so it can stand out in the room or sit close to an exterior wall.

It's built on the current 530V Portrait engine, which Valor says brings a V-Class burner and new log and coal sets, in natural gas (530VN) or propane (530VP). The engine, fuel bed, liner, and two-box 531 President casting are ordered separately, and the Valor Plus remote comes with the engine.

• Traditional cast iron look. Valor describes the President as solid cast iron, finished in black.
• Top or rear venting. Convertible venting lets it stand freely or sit tight to an exterior wall.
• Logs or coals. Choose birch, driftwood, or traditional logs, or a coal set.
