Valor HE6 Electric Fireplace, LCD flame

The Valor HE6 is a 36 inch built-in electric fireplace with a full-view glass front and a bed of glowing logs. The LC model builds its fire on an LCD screen behind the logs, which gives the flame depth and motion and lets it change with the ember bed lighting. It plugs into household power, needs no vent or gas line, and can be framed into a new wall or set into an existing fireplace opening.

The heater is rated at 1,400 watts on a standard 120 volt circuit, or 2,800 watts on 240 volts, and the flame runs with or without heat so it works year round. Fronts are the Clean Installation Kit for a flush, trimless look, the three sided Clearview front in vintage iron, or the four sided Edgemont front in pewter. Log sets are glowing birch or glowing traditional. Control is by the Thermocontrol remote and the C and J Smart app, with an optional wall switch kit.

What Makes the HE6 Different

• Full-view glass. Nothing across the front of the fire.
• Two flame technologies. This is the LCD flame version; Valor also makes the other, and the pages are separate so the two are not confused.
• Fronts and logs to order. Three fronts and two log sets, chosen when it is ordered.
• No vent or gas line. 120 or 240 volt electric.

Heater ratings are Valor's. An electric fireplace is supplemental heat and will not replace a furnace or a gas fireplace.
