The Valor GE4 is a larger electric insert that works whether you're upgrading an existing fireplace or starting a new build. It's 33 inches wide, runs at 120 V with a plug-in cord, and uses Valor-designed birch, driftwood, or splitwood log sets for a realistic fire.
Run it from the onboard controls, the thermostatic remote with a timer, or the C&J Smart App. There are two crackle sound options with five volume levels. At 120 V it puts out 1,400 watts, or 2,800 watts when hardwired for 240 V. For a clean finish, Valor offers the GE4CIK clean installation kit, which needs no backing plate.

The wattage and BTU ratings are Valor's. The warmth you feel depends on the room, where the insert sits, and how it's used.
Ownership & Maintenance
No gas line or venting is involved. If you want the 2,800 W setting at 240 V, the GE4 has to be hardwired by an electrician. We offer ongoing service for our customers.
