The Valor Portrait insert is really about the front you choose. Valor's Portrait Series offers a range of fronts for traditional and contemporary rooms, from the President and Senator to the Windsor Arch, Clearview, and Ledgeview, so the same gas insert can look very different from one home to the next.
This listing is the 530VPI, the propane insert engine from Valor's upgraded 530V Portrait line, which Valor says adds a V-Class burner and new log and coal sets. Valor describes the insert engine as having a tapered firebox and slim design to fit difficult cavities. You'll choose birch, driftwood, or traditional logs or a coal set, plus a liner and front, separately.
