The Valor LX1 Pier is built to sit between spaces rather than against a wall. Valor designed it to fit into any home, creating two rooms out of one or easing the move from one space to the next, so the fire becomes part of the architecture. Decorative overhead lighting adds a finished glow above the fuel bed.
This listing is the natural gas engine. It heats on battery power, so it doesn't need household electricity to run as a heater, and the Valor 10 remote with thermostatic mode is included. HeatShift is required on the LX1, including a canopy kit option made for pony-wall installations. You choose the fuel bed and liner panel separately.
This listing is the Valor 2100PKN LX1 Pier engine for natural gas. The fuel bed and liner panel are ordered separately.
The BTU and EnerGuide ratings are Valor's. How each side of the room feels depends on the layout, the installation, and how you use the fireplace.
The LX1 uses AA batteries as its main power source, so keep a spare set in the drawer. Hearth Doctor customers get support after the sale.
