Valor L1 See-Thru Linear Gas Fireplace, Natural Gas

The Valor L1 See-Thru puts one fire between two spaces. It has the same widescreen proportions as the L1, with a 40 inch by 14-1/2 inch view on each side, so two separate spaces can share the same flame. Valor calls it a seamless transition between architectural spaces.

This listing is the natural gas engine. It runs on battery power as a heater, so it doesn't depend on household electricity, and the included Valor 10 remote has a thermostatic mode. Because both faces show, you'll need two fronts to finish the installation, along with a fuel bed and liner.

What Makes the L1 See-Thru Different

  • Fire on both sides. The See-Thru has glass on both faces, so two rooms share one fire. Valor describes it as a way to provide zone heating in two separate spaces.
  • Runs on batteries. Like all Valor gas fireplaces, it uses four AA batteries as its primary power and works as a heater without household electricity.
  • HeatShift option. HeatShift is Valor's fanless convection system for moving warm air away from the opening. Valor recommends it, and it's required with the 1530CIK clean install front.
  • Thermostatic remote included. The Valor 10 remote can measure the room and adjust the flame height to hold the temperature you set.

This listing is the Valor 1600KN L1 See-Thru Linear engine (2-sided) for natural gas. The fuel bed, liner, and two fronts are ordered separately.
