If you have a wood-burning fireplace that mostly sits dark, the Valor G3 V-Class is a practical way to bring it back to life on propane. The G3 has been part of Valor's lineup since 1991, and this V-Class version pairs it with a choice of three V-Class log sets: birch, driftwood, or traditional logs.
The 739VP engine comes with Valor's AutoFire system and a Valor Plus remote. Valor describes the G3 as a radiant fireplace that heats the room directly, without relying on a fan or electricity, and it runs on battery power. It needs an existing, working solid-fuel fireplace and chimney. The log set, liner, front, and surround are ordered separately, and we'll help you match them.
This listing is the Valor 739VP engine, the V-Class G3 direct vent gas insert for propane. The fuel bed, liner, front, and surround are sold separately.
Input and EnerGuide figures are Valor's ratings. How warm the room feels depends on the space, your home's layout, the installation, and how you run the fire.
The optional circulating fan is controlled separately from the remote and needs a grounded power source. We offer ongoing service for our customers after installation.
