Regency® i1500 Small Hybrid Catalytic Wood Insert

The Regency Cascades i1500 puts hybrid catalytic technology into a small wood insert for an existing masonry fireplace. The catalytic combustor helps burn off smoke before it goes up the chimney, and Regency rates the insert at 78% HHV efficiency.

It takes logs up to 18 inches long in a 0.98 cubic foot firebox, and a blower is optional if you want help moving heat into the room. For homeowners who want a cleaner-burning fire from the fireplace they already have, it's a strong small option.

What Makes the Cascades i1500 Different

  • Hybrid catalytic. A catalytic combustor helps clean up smoke before it leaves the insert.
  • Efficiency rating. Regency lists 78% HHV and 84% LHV.
  • Low emissions. Particulate emissions rated at 1.0 g/hr.
  • Optional blower. Add a blower to help move heat out into the room.

Ownership & Maintenance

The catalytic combustor should be inspected from time to time and will eventually need to be replaced. That's normal for any catalytic insert, and it's part of the ongoing service for our customers.

We'll measure your fireplace, plan the liner, and handle the installation. Browse more wood inserts or visit our Auburn, Brunswick, and Yarmouth showrooms.
