HZ54E Regency Horizon DV Fireplace NG

The Regency Horizon is a contemporary linear gas fireplace for people who want a long, clean line of fire in a modern room. It's direct vent, with electronic ignition and an on-demand pilot, so lighting it is as easy as picking up the remote.

It comes in two sizes. The HZ40E is 49 7/8 inches wide, and the HZ54E is the larger model. Each size is sold in natural gas and propane versions. A blower is optional, and batteries in the remote receiver keep the burner working if the power goes out.

What Makes the Horizon Different

• Contemporary linear look. A long, modern flame picture with a clean, simple frame.
• Works in an outage. Batteries in the remote receiver keep the burner running when the power's out.
• Two sizes, two fuels. Choose the HZ40E or the larger HZ54E, each in natural gas or propane.
• Optional blower. Add a blower if you'd like help moving warm air into the room.

This listing is the larger HZ54E-11 for natural gas.

Key Specifications

• Blower: Optional
• Natural gas input: 29,000 to 41,500 BTU/hr
• Fireplace efficiency (CSA P.4.1): 64.45% natural gas
• Venting: Direct vent, 5 in x 8 in

BTU and efficiency figures are Regency's ratings from standardized testing. Real comfort depends on your room, the installation, and how you run the fireplace.

Ownership & Maintenance

The optional blower needs household power, so it won't run during an outage even though the burner will. Keep fresh batteries in the remote receiver.
