Morsø 3142 Convection Wood Stove

The Morsø 3142 wraps a cast iron wood stove in side convection panels, so air moves around the firebox and back into the room. If you like the look of classic Morsø cast iron but want a convection stove, this is the one to see.

It's also flexible to install. The 6 inch flue can leave from the top or the rear, an outside air kit is available, and in the US it's approved for mobile homes when fitted with the outside combustion air kit. Morsø built it with tertiary air, plus a riddling grate and ashpan for easy cleanout. It's listed for wood only, meets the EPA's 2020 limits, and takes logs up to 12 inches.

What Makes the 3142 Different

  • Side convection panels. Convection panels on the sides move warm air out into the room.
  • Top or rear flue. The 6 inch flue can exit from the top or the rear, which gives you more ways to plan the chimney connection.
  • Mobile home approved in the US. With the outside combustion air kit and the other requirements in the manual, the 3142 can go in a mobile home.
  • Tertiary air and easy cleanout. Tertiary air is part of Morsø's combustion design, and the riddling grate and ashpan make ash removal simple.

This listing is the US version of the Morsø 3142 B convection wood stove, part number 64315721.
