Morsø 6148 Convection Wood Stove on Pedestal
The Morsø 6148 stands on a slim pedestal, which gives it the look of a piece of sculpture more than a heating appliance. The cast iron body sits up off the hearth, and the glass door puts the fire front and center.
Behind the glass is a non-catalytic convection design that burns wood only. Morsø uses pre-heated combustion air, a pre-heated secondary air supply, and tertiary air to burn the fire cleanly. It's certified to the EPA 2020 standard at 1.8 grams per hour, with 74% HHV efficiency and room for logs up to 12 inches.
What Makes the Morsø 6148 Different
- Pedestal stand. The pedestal lifts the stove to about 37 inches tall and gives it a light, open look on the hearth.
- Clean combustion design. Pre-heated combustion and secondary air plus tertiary air are part of the combustion design.
- Glass that stays clearer. An airwash system sweeps air across the glass to help keep your view of the fire.
- Easy cleanout. An ash tray makes it simple to take ashes out between fires.
This listing is the Morsø 6148 B on pedestal (SKU 64611221), the US EPA 2020 certified version.
