Mendota FV44i Gas Fireplace Insert FullView

The Mendota FV44i FullView gas insert puts the fire front and center. A 32-3/8 by 23 inch viewing area gives you a broad, open look at the flames, and the insert covers a wide range, from 16,300 up to 40,000 BTU/hr input on natural gas.

Mendota's website calls this version the FV44i Traditional, and its manual lists 77.29% P.4 efficiency. You get electronic IPI ignition with a thermostatic remote control, dual blowers as standard equipment, and a four-AA battery backup that runs it for about ten days in an outage.

What Makes the FV44i FullView Different

  • Wide fire view. A 32-3/8 by 23 inch viewing area makes the fire the focus of the fireplace.
  • Wide input range. 16,300 to 40,000 BTU/hr on natural gas and 15,300 to 40,000 BTU/hr on propane.
  • Blowers come standard. Dual 190 CFM blowers are included, not an add-on.
  • Battery backup. About ten days of operation on four AA batteries, per Mendota, with the blower and accent light off.

This listing is the Mendota FV44i FullView direct vent gas fireplace insert, model AA-11-02470, sold by Mendota as the FV44i Traditional, with ratings for natural gas and propane.
