Enviro EF2i Pellet Fireplace Insert
If you have a fireplace that mostly sits cold, the Enviro EF2i can put it back to work. This pellet insert installs in an existing fireplace opening once we confirm the fit, and it burns wood pellets instead of logs. You load 1/4 in wood pellets into the 40 lb hopper and let the stove feed itself.
The EF2i is the EF2-1 insert, the current version certified to the 2020 EPA particulate standards. Enviro lists an HHV efficiency of 76.7%. It's finished in black, vents with 3 in or 4 in pellet pipe, and plugs into a standard 110 to 120 V circuit.
What Makes the EF2i Different
- Uses the fireplace you already have. The insert goes into your existing fireplace, so you get pellet heat without giving up floor space in the room.
- Self-feeding pellet heat. Fill the 40 lb hopper and the stove feeds pellets on its own, with no logs to haul in or ash-heavy fires to tend.
- Current 2020 EPA version. The EF2-1 meets the 2020 EPA particulate standards, with a tested emission rate of 1.44 g/hr.
