Valor GE3 Electric Fireplace Insert

The Valor GE3 is an electric insert for turning an existing fireplace into an easy, no-fuss fire. Valor calls it a flexible alternative to gas or wood that only needs a simple plug-in installation at 120 volts. Birch, driftwood, or splitwood log sets give it a realistic look behind the 25-1/4 inch wide glass.

It gives you 1,400 watts of heat on a standard 120 V plug, or 2,800 watts if it's hardwired for 240 V. Control it with the thermostatic remote or the C&J Smart App, and add a crackle sound effect if you like. The engine comes with its glass. The log set, front, and backing plate or shroud are chosen separately.

What Makes the GE3 Different

  • Plug in and go. At 120 V it plugs into a grounded outlet with its 6 foot cord. For 2,800 watts at 240 V, it's hardwired.
  • Fits existing fireplaces. It's made to go into an existing fireplace or a zero clearance build, with a minimum cavity listed below.
  • Remote and app control. Use the thermostatic remote or the C&J Smart App to run the heat and the fire.
  • Three Valor log sets. Choose birch, driftwood, or splitwood logs for the look you want.

This listing is the Valor GE3 electric fireplace insert engine with glass. The log set, front, and backing plate or shroud are ordered separately.

Ownership & Maintenance

There's no venting or gas service with the GE3. If you choose 240 V for the higher heat setting, plan on an electrician to hardwire it. Hearth Doctor customers get support after the sale.
