Napoleon High Country 5000 Wood-Burning Fireplace
The Napoleon High Country 5000 is for people who want a real wood fire that's easy to live with. Tending a fire should feel natural, and Napoleon built this one around its counterbalanced ZERO GRAVITY system. The screen and the door move on their own, so lighting the fire and adding wood feel easy instead of awkward.
Inside, built-in horizontal and vertical airflow ridges, which Napoleon says supercharge the air. The firebox holds 6.6 cubic feet and takes logs up to 24 inches. When the fire's out, the flue and outside air dampers close all the way. The EPA lists it as a low mass fireplace qualified at the Phase 2 level of its voluntary program.
What Makes the High Country 5000 Different
- ZERO GRAVITY door system. The screen and door are counterbalanced and work independently, so you can open the fire up or close it off without a fight.
- Airflow built into the firebox. Built-in horizontal and vertical airflow directional ridges, which Napoleon says supercharge the air in the firebox.
- Dampers that close fully. The flue and outside air dampers shut all the way when the fireplace isn't in use, to cut down on heat loss from the house.
- Andirons and gloves included. Steel andirons in a charcoal finish and heat resistant gloves are included, and you can dress the firebox with optional brick panels.
This listing is the Napoleon High Country 5000 wood-burning fireplace (SKU NP NZ5000-T). Steel andirons and heat resistant gloves are included. Smooth and Traditional decorative brick panels are optional.
