ortal-wilderness-31h-31-x-65
Ortal Wilderness 31H (31 x 65)

The Ortal Wilderness 31H is a tall, portrait-style direct vent gas fireplace. Ortal's Wilderness burner runs the flame up through the log set instead of along a bed in front of it, so the fire reads much closer to wood than a typical linear gas fireplace. It still has the clean steel frame and large glass Ortal is known for, and it runs on natural gas or propane.

The front is either Ortal's double glass heat barrier, which keeps the outer glass cool enough to touch, or a micro mesh protective screen.

What Makes the Wilderness 31H (31 x 65) Different

Wilderness burner. Flames come up through the logs for a wood-fire look.

Glass or screen. Double glass heat barrier or micro mesh screen, your choice.

App control. Remote, wall switch and Wi-Fi app are all included on the Wilderness line.

Key Specifications

Viewing area: 30 5/8 in x 64 15/16 in

Natural gas input: up to 29,861 BTU/hr (79.7% efficiency, Ortal rating)

Propane input: up to 24,130 BTU/hr (80.4% efficiency, Ortal rating)

Venting: 5 in x 8 in coaxial direct vent

Heat barrier: Double glass or micro mesh protective screen

Log sets: Dark Brown, Chopped Wood, Short Driftwood, Valley Oak or Birch

Controls: Remote, Wi-Fi app and wall switch

Input and efficiency figures are Ortal's published ratings.
